Davante Adams’ incident with a cameraman, what happened?
Two years ago, the player was involved in an altercation with a photographer after the Raiders’ loss, leading the police to press charges against him.
After losing 30-29 to the Kansas City Chiefs in October 2022, Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams lost his cool and pushed a photographer to the ground on his way to the locker room in what appeared to be a totally unprovoked attack.
The NFL announced a possible suspension and fine for the former Green Bay Packers wide receiver but informed him later that he wouldn’t be disciplined.
According to the Kansas City Police Department, the photographer filed a police report against the receiver for injuries, which, according to the authorities, did not put the victim’s life at risk.

Hours after shoving the photographer, Davante Adams spoke out on social media and apologized to the man for his reaction, claiming that he was frustrated after the disaster his team suffered.
“Sorry to the guy I pushed over after the game. Obviously, (I was) very frustrated at the way the game ended, and when he ran in front of me as I exited, that was my reaction, and I felt horrible immediately. That’s not me. MY APOLOGIES, man. Hope you see this,” Adams wrote on Twitter.
Police dropped the charges in the case’s aftermath
In June 2023, there was a development in the legal case involving the Las Vegas Raiders’ wide receiver Davante Adams.
Prosecutors made the decision to drop a misdemeanor assault charge that had been filed against Adams in October 2022. This charge was related to an incident where Adams pushed a photographer to the ground while leaving the field after a loss in Kansas City.
The case, which was filed in Kansas City municipal court, was officially dismissed on June 5.
