Prescott turns heads at OTAs after major injury comeback

Last season was a forgettable one for Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. He was injured in Week 9 and out for the rest of the season, but even before that, he was having one of his worst career seasons.

But now, he’s back in action and looking to bounce back from both the injury and the downswing, and he’s given Cowboys fans reasons to feel positive during his workouts at their Organized Team Activities this week.

Prescott moving like he never left

Prescott suffered from a severe hamstring injury that required surgery to repair. Although it cut his season short, he had plenty of time to recover before the 2025 season began. His goal was to be fully back by OTAs, and he’s achieved that.

Prescott looked sharp, especially in passing, completing 14 of 18 passes and showing impressive mobility - a crucial sign following surgery. His ability to extend plays and lead the offense, which now consists of two weapons at receiver, could be the key to Dallas’ success this season.

His resilience and strong comeback will not only boost the Cowboys’ offense, but also reaffirms Prescott’s role as a leader. With a healthy Prescott heading into the 2025 season, Dallas has reason to be confident. After a disappointing 2024 season, it’s encouraging to see Prescott and the Cowboys showing growth.
