In a pre-Super Bowl video release by the White House’s social media team, President Joe Biden has called on companies to put an end to “shrinkflation.” Take a look here.

While everyone can agree that shrinkflation is a bad thing, the real driving factor is INflation rather than corporate greed.

Comments on Twitter run the entire gamut between full on support for the POTUS to his political opponents accusing Biden’s policies of actually exacerbating the issue.

One commenter said, “So what you gonna do? Stop printing money? Stop running deficits? The inflation is your fault.

Another chimed in, “The lack of self-awareness here is truly remarkable!

What do you think about all of this? Is shrinkflation an issue that is worthy of Presidential attention? And is the Super Bowl the right platform for this type of release?
