With both teams truly struggling and in desperate need of a win, it really is a shame that this one will be largely affected by who is healthy and who is not. Let’s take a look at the injury report for the Week 15 clash between the Green Bay Packers and the Los Angeles Rams

Packers to play without David Bakhtiari

The big news - and unfortunate - out of Green Bay this week ins that left tackle David Bkahtiari won’t be playing. Bakhtiari, who had an appendectomy two weeks ago, has now been officially ruled out of the game. Indeed, it’s not actually a surprise, as head coach Matt LaFleur referred to Bakhtiari’s chance to play against the Los Angeles Rams as “longshot” earlier in the week. There is, however, some good news for the Packers which is to say that aside from Bakhtiari, the only other player to miss practice this week was Elgton Jenkins (knee), who was a limited participant on both Friday and Saturday and wasn’t given a status ahead of the game. With that said, the Packers are actually in decent shape. Expect to see rookie Zach Tom stepping in to replace Bakhtiari.

Struggling Rams lose Aaron Donald

With a record of 4-9, the Rams are now set to miss the playoffs and are on the verge of their first ever season with double digit losses. To make matters worse, the team was forced to rule out five players on Saturday, including star defensive lineman Aaron Donald (ankle). This is an unfortunate situation to see the least, but worse yet is the fact that it’s just the tip of the iceberg for Los Angeles. The defending Super Bowl champions will be without a number of players when they face the Packers on ‘Monday Night Football.’ In addition to Donald, we won’t see defensive tackle Marquise Copeland (ankle), linebacker Travin Howard (hip), defensive back David Long Jr. (groin) and backup quarterback John Wolford (neck). Lastly, there is starting center Brian Allen (knee), who was also listed as questionable after being a limited participant on Friday and Saturday.
