Ravens fans’ relief as Lamar Jackson’s comeback date revealed

Baltimore has endured a tough start to the season but hopes the returns of Jackson and Roquan Smith can spark a turnaround.

Estados Unidos Update:

Lamar Jackson appears close to returning to action for the Baltimore Ravens after missing two games with a hamstring injury suffered on September 28.

When will Lamar Jackson be back for the Ravens?

The star quarterback is expected to be back under center in Week 8 when the Ravens host the Chicago Bears on October 26 at M&T Bank Stadium.

Baltimore has struggled badly in Jackson’s absence, suffering a heavy 44-10 defeat against the Houston Texans in Week 5 before losing 17-3 to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. Cooper Rush was the starting QB in both games, although Tyler Huntley was more impressive in his limited playing time.

Coach Harbaugh confident key players will be available for Week 8

Head coach John Harbaugh confirmed that several players should be ready to go following the team’s Week 7 bye.

“We’re going to have some healthy guys coming back. Our quarterback and our middle linebacker will be back,” Harbaugh told reporters.

Roquan Smith also on track for return

In addition to Jackson, Baltimore is also set to regain standout linebacker Roquan Smith, who’s been sidelined with a hamstring issue of his own.

Both returns come at a crucial time as the Ravens aim to strengthen their position in the AFC heading into the midseason stretch.

The two-time Super Bowl winners are 1-5 after a torrid start to the season, so Harbaugh will be desperately hoping Jackson and Smith can turn things around quickly as they look to mount a playoff push.
