The Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints will play today at 1 p.m. ET at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The Cowboys have one more player on their injury list than last week with two ruled out. The Saints are much worse off, with 15 players on their final report and two ruled out.

Cowboys vs Saints final injury report

Dallas Cowboys injury report Week 2 vs Saints

After his status went from questionable to doubtful, the Cowboys have finally moved tight end Jake Ferguson to the list of inactives against the Saints today. After a scary injury to his knee in Week 1, Ferguson got good news that he’d only suffered a minor sprain to his MCL and by Wednesday, he was pain-free. Still, the Cowboys are playing it safe and keeping him sidelined this week.

Unfortunately for the Cowboys, they’ll also be without another tight end, John Stephens Jr., who’s missing the second week in a row due to a hamstring issue.

INACTIVE

  • QB Trey Lance (emergency third QB)
  • CB Andrew Booth
  • LB Buddy Johnson
  • OT Matt Waletzko
  • WR Ryan Flournoy
  • TE John Stephens
  • TE Jake Ferguson

New Orleans Saints injury report Week 2 @ Cowboys

After being limited in practices this week, safety Tyrann Mathieu, tight end Foster Moreau, as well as wide receiver Rashid Shaheed are all good to go against the Cowboys. Linebacker Jaylan Ford and cornerback Marshon Lattimore are officially inactive against the Cowboys. Lattimore, the four-time Pro Bowler and leader of the Saints defense, is a huge loss.

Linebacker D’Marco Jackson and defensive tackle Khalen Saunders are both out as well, dealing with calf injuries. Saunders is a big loss as he’s a starter on the Saints defensive line. All these defensive injuries are concerning against an explosive Dallas offense in their own territory.

INACTIVE

  • LB Jaylan Ford
  • TE Dallin Holker
  • LB D’Marco Jackson
  • CB Marshon Lattimore
  • WR A.T. Perry
  • QB Spencer Rattler (designated emergency third quarterback)
  • DT Khalen Saunders
