Game summary: Cowboys take the victory over Seahawks
Although the Cowboys trailed at home for the first time this season, in the end they were able to keep their undefeated home win streak. Their 41-25 comeback win over Seattle was their 14th consecutive win at home. And this time, they did so against a team with a winning record for the first time. Meanwhile, the Seahawks lost their third consecutive game and fell to 6-6.
It wasn't always pretty
The game was filled with penalties, turnovers, quarterback sacks, and interceptions. Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott finished the game 29 of 41 for 299 yards, threetouchdownpasses, nointerceptions, and foursacks, Seahawks quarterback GenoSmith finished 23 of 41 for 334 yards, three touchdowns, one interception, and no sacks.
There were 19 total penalties on the game and both teams combined for 257yards in penalties, the most in one game this season.
But sometimes it was pretty
Prescott has now thrown 20 passing touchdowns over the last six games, the most in a six-game span in Cowboys history. WR CeeDee Lamb had 12 catches for 116 yards and a touchdown, and TE Jake Ferguson, WR Brandin Cooks, and RB Tony Pollard all contributed touchdowns of their own, too. Kicker Brandon Aubrey contribured three four goals to the mix, making a record 26 consecutive FGs to start his career.
Despite the Seahawks' loss, they also looked way better on offense this week, with WR DK Metcalf catching six passes for 134 yards and three touchdowns (one of his which was a 73-yarder). Rookie Jaxon Smith-Njigba added 62 yards on seven catches.
At the end of the game, with 1:11 remaining, the Seahawks had a chance to go back and score with the Cowboys leading by 6, but LB Micah Parsons shot that chance down. His pressure on Smith on 4th down forced him to throw the ball to the ground and the Cowboys went on to win.
No punts!
Throughout the whole game, neither team punted the ball at any point, instead playing hard and intense and going for it on 4th down or simply getting close enough to attempt field goals. There have only been four other instances in the NFL in which neither team punted in a game.
What's next?
Tonight's game was the start of a difficult run of games for the Cowboys, playing teams with winning record for the next four weeks. They will play their NFC East rivals Philadelphia Eagles at home on Sunday, December 10.
The Seahawks will also face a division-leading rival/rematch in the NFC West when they face the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, December 10.

And we're off!
The Dallas Cowboys have won the toss and elected to receive! Let's go!
Let's talk about DaRon Bland
Cowboys cornerback DaRon Bland is on a roll this season, making history just last week with his fifth pick-six on Thanksgiving Day against the Washington Commanders.
The Dallas defender now has more touchdowns this season than any of the Seahawks receivers.
Dallas D
It's not just Bland who's been dominant on the defensive side of the ball this season though. The Dallas defense leads the league in pressure rate at 45.4%, and much of that is thanks to linebacker Micah Parsons. Parsons leads the NFL in pressures with 71 and that's despite being double teamed more than nearly any other player. He's also got 11.5 sacks this season. Last week, the Seahawks allowed six sacks on QB Geno Smith. Parsons could have fun tonight.
Speaking of NFL streaks...
The Seahawks are leading the league in a streak that I guess they'd rather not be. Their offense is on a 20-drive streak without a touchdown.
Their kicker, Jason Myers, has outscored the entire rest of the Seattle offense in four straight games and in five of seven games since their bye week in Week 5.
Leading that weak offense is quarterback Geno Smith, who has not been performing well when under pressure. He's been much less successful at completing long passes this season. It hasn't helped that he and his o-line have been dealing with injuries. Smith had to play last week against the 49ers despite suffering an elbow injury just four days prior, Kenneth Walker III is out, Abraham Lucas is finally returning from injury tonight.

Prescott, the record-breaker?
Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is currently on the longest active streak of multiple touchdown passes in five consecutive games. If he manages to get at least two touchdown passes tonight, he'll tie his career-long streak and has the chance to beat Tony Romo's franchise record (seven games).
Prescott playing some of his best football this season
Prescott has seen some major improvements this year. Whereas last season, he was on a streak of games with at least one interception, this year, he's on the verge of breaking records with his touchdown passes streak. This season, he's thrown just six interceptions, is completing more than 70% of his passes, and has thrown for 2,935 yards and 23 touchdowns.

Cowboys' home winning streak
The Dallas Cowboys are currently on a 13-game winning streak, with their last home loss coming in Week 1 of the 2022-23 season to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Not only have they won every home game this season, but they've also not trailed at home at any point in any game.
The Cowboys are the NFL team with the longest active winning streak at the moment and on top of that, have won each one by at least 20 points and have scored at least 30. They are the first team in league history to have won each of their first five home games by 20+ points.
Seattle providing a challenge for Dallas
With all of that said, however, Seattle will be Dallas' first difficult home test, as they are the first team over .500 that the Cowboys will play at home. In fact, the Cowboys have had the easiest schedule in the league so far this season, facing opponents with a .384 win percentage.
Seattle though is currently on a two-game losing streak and have lost their last three road games, including a 34-point blowout loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
