Stefon Diggs video sparks controversy - Patriots stay tight-lipped
A video recently went viral of New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs on a boat with an unknown pink substance and coach Mike Vrabel responded.

As the 2025 NFL season gets ready to ramp up with OTAs already begun, the players are enjoying the last bit of summer before training camp. And a recent video of New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs showed that he may be enjoying his summer a little too much.
A video went viral recently of Diggs on a boat with girlfriend Cardi B and several others in which he is holding an unknown pink substance, which he shares with several women. However, it is not clear either what the substance is or when the video was shot.

Patriots respond to Stefon Diggs viral video
On Wednesday, Patriots coach Mike Vrabel said the team is aware of the video and is handling it privately. He said he speaks to his players, including Diggs, every day, so he’s definitely spoken to him since becoming aware of the video.
“It’s something that we’re aware of,” Vrabel said. “Obviously, we want to make great decisions on and off the field. We’re hoping that with our time here on the field today, that when we don’t have a script and we’re on the call periods, that we’re making great decisions.”
“The message will be the same for all our players, that we’re trying to make great decisions,” he continued. “Any conversations that I’ve had with Stefon will remain between him, I and the club.”
NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero said that the league made no comment about the video.
Diggs was not present at the Patriots’ voluntary OTAs on Wednesday but has been spotted at the facility during other parts of their offseason program. The Patriots have four more OTAs from June 2-3 and June 5 and their minicamp will run from June 9-11.
In March, Diggs signed a three-year, $69 million contract with the Pats and is currently recovering from an ACL injury he suffered in late October with the Houston Texans.
