Super Bowl 2027 odds revealed: Who is the favorite and why?
The Patriots and Seahawks have yet to play in this year’s championship game, but oddsmakers are already looking ahead to Super Bowl LXI.

The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks will face off at Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara on February 8. But many other NFL teams are already turning their attention to the 2026 season, which will conclude at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood with Super Bowl LXI.
Early odds for a season that hasn’t started
It might feel premature, but Las Vegas oddsmakers have already released their odds board for next season. And that is despite many teams still not naming a head coach, the next NFL draft not taking place until late April, and the inevitable roster shake-ups that will happen before September.
Even so, the Buffalo Bills are being backed to finally end their long Super Bowl drought, though only just.

Buffalo comes in as a +900 favorite, which are relatively long odds for the team at the top. Does that mean oddsmakers are simply guessing who will emerge as the champion in a season that starts almost eight months from now? We’ll leave that for you to decide.
Tight race at the top
The Bills, beaten in the AFC Divisional playoffs this season, are narrowly ahead of potential 2026 winners the Seahawks and the Los Angeles Rams, both at +1000. The Philadelphia Eagles, 2024 Super Bowl champions, are next at +1200.
At the other end of the spectrum, the New York Jets, Las Vegas Raiders, and Arizona Cardinals are again expected to struggle, sharing the longest odds along with the Miami Dolphins at +1500.
The Patriots, hoping to win this year’s Super Bowl, are at +1400, as are the Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, and Kansas City Chiefs. Interestingly, the Denver Broncos, this year’s top AFC seed, are down at +2000.

Why the Bills are favored
Buffalo has made the playoffs every year since 2019, so oddsmakers likely see them as a safe bet again in 2026. They also have quarterback Josh Allen, considered by many to be the league’s top QB and most influential player. Since entering the league, the 2024 MVP has missed the postseason only once, in his rookie season in 2018.
However, longtime head coach Sean McDermott, who guided the Bills to eight playoff appearances in nine seasons, was fired and replaced by Joe Brady. Brady, the team’s former offensive coordinator, has never been a head coach. How that transition will play out remains to be seen.
Despite Allen’s playoff struggles this year, oddsmakers appear to think he gives Buffalo an edge. Still, the overall odds board suggests next year’s Super Bowl race could be wide open once more.
