Just because we’ve been seeing less of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce in the spotlight since the NFL season ended doesn’t mean they’re not progressing in the relationship. Quite the contrary - insiders revealed to the Daily Mail on Monday that the couple is definitely planning to get engaged.
It’s a love story, baby, just say yes!
Travis Kelce decided not to retire at the end of the NFL season last year as his Kansas City Chiefs lost the Super Bowl to the Philadelphia Eagles. And this offseason, he’s been training hard in Florida.
According to People, Swift is planning to stay in Miami with Kelce while he trains for the upcoming NFL season. That could have had something to do with why she didn’t show up to the American Music Awards, where she was nominated in six different categories.
While they’ve been keeping a low profile this offseason, the couple was spotted out together twice this month - once on Mother’s Day in Philadelphia with Kelce’s family, and once on a dinner date at Harry’s Bar and Restaurant in West Palm Beach.
The Daily Mail reports that an engagement is definitely on the horizon for Swift and Kelce, who have been dating since at least September 2023. It’s just a matter of time now.
“Everyone is just waiting for Travis to ask her parents for her hand in marriage, her parents will say yes, and they can’t wait for them to get engaged,” the insider told The Daily Mail. “Nothing seems to be imminent, but it will 100 percent happen. Taylor and Travis are treating this relationship as their last relationship.”
