The atrocious throw by Patrick Mahomes that’s going viral on social media
Mahomes led the Chiefs to their third straight Super Bowl appearance with their win over the Bills on Sunday, but one sloppy throw is stuck in fans' minds.

The Kansas City Chiefs are on their way to the Super Bowl yet again after defeating the Buffalo Bills in Sunday’s AFC Conference Championship.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes led the offense with 18 of 26 completions for 245 yards and one touchdown pass, plus 11 carries for 43 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. However, there was one throw that wasn’t so pretty, and unfortunately, the fans aren’t going to let Mahomes forget it.
Mahomes' worst throw comes after touchdown run
Hilariously, Mahomes' worst throw of the night didn’t come as you’d expect. In fact, he threw no interceptions, and his incomplete passes can mostly be chalked up to good Bills defense.
But Mahomes' worst throw of the night came on a touchdown spike. Early in the 4th quarter, Mahomes gave the Chiefs the lead on a 10-yard touchdown run. Once he made it into the end zone, he went to spike the ball in celebration, but ended up just kind of tossing it over towards the sidelines.

Fortunately, that throw did not affect the Chiefs negatively at all. Unfortunately for Mahomes, the fans won’t let him forget it.

Even announcer Jim Nantz called it Mahomes' “worst pass of the night”.
The Chiefs will face the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, February 9 at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
