The final straw? Jimmy Butler walks out of Miami Heat shoot around
The Jimmy Butler saga has taken a turn for the worst in Miami as the Heat superstar skipped out on a team walk around that led to another suspension.

The Miami Heat and Jimmy Butler look like they are at the point of no return. After months of a not-so internal conflict between him and management, Butler added fuel to the flame in a team shoot around on Monday morning.

Butler was set to come back from a two game suspension for the Heat’s game against the Orlando Magic on Monday night, but he was suspended again on Monday morning.
Butler was informed he would be coming off the bench as long as he remained in Miami, and Butler walked out of the shoot around early. This time the six time All-Star will be suspended indefinitely according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Trade deadline looming
This isn’t the first or second time the Heat have used disciplinary actions with Butler who has been open about his desire to leave Miami. He’s only played in three of the last 12 games due to his suspension for missing a team flight and a seven game suspension due to conduct detrimental to the team.
With the trade deadline coming up on the 6th of February, the Heat are looking to trade Butler while getting the most they can in return. The Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors and the Denver Nuggets have emerged as the front runners to land Butler should the Heat trade him.
