Currently breaking records as her global ‘Eras Tour’ rolls out across Europe, one common feature at Taylor Swift shows in cities such as Lisbon, Madrid, Amsterdam and London are the number of fans sporting the iconic red Kansas City Chiefs jersey, invariably with the name and number of Travis Kelce. The singer’s relationship with the the 34-year-old NFL star has been instrumental in sparking a surge in interest in the sport prompting increased merchandise sales, greater viewing figures and delivering a global profile for the team and NFL in general that marketing managers could only dream about.

Although Taylor Swift is the current highest profile NFL fan, she joins a well established list of VIP’s that include stars from the world of music, politics, television and the big screen.
