The painful amount NFL fans will have to spend to watch the Wildcard round

The NFL enters its decisive stretch on the road to Super Bowl LX, with the Wild Card round kicking off this weekend. Six compelling matchups will determine who advances to the divisional round in each conference.

How much does it cost to watch the NFL Wildcard games?

The No. 1 seeds, the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos, are already waiting to learn their next opponents, who will emerge from a Wild Card slate that has generated major expectations among fans. Watching all of these games in the United States, however, comes at a cost: viewers will need to spend close to $100 to see every matchup.

To watch all six Wild Card games, fans must hold subscriptions to multiple streaming platforms, including ESPN, Amazon Prime Video, Peacock, Paramount+ and Fox.

Fox will carry the matchups between the Rams and Panthers, as well as the 49ers vs the Philadelphia Eagles. ESPN will broadcast Texans vs Steelers. Games between the Packers and Bears will stream on Prime Video, while Chargers vs Patriots will be shown on Peacock and NBC, alongside Bills vs Jaguars. Coverage is spread across platforms, forcing fans to juggle subscriptions.

In total, NFL fans will need to pay $88.95 to watch all six Wild Card games this weekend.

ESPN charges $29.99 per month for its subscription, followed by Amazon Prime Video at $14.99. Peacock and Paramount+ are each priced at $11.99 per month, while Fox charges $19.99 monthly to access NFL coverage and other sports programming.
