The wedding in Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show was real
One of the standout moments of Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX halftime show was a Latino wedding ceremony that unfolded live on the field.

One of the standout moments of Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX’s halftime show was the celebration of a Latino wedding that gave way to a reggaeton- and salsa-fuelled fiesta. What appeared to be part of the choreography turned out to be something more. It was a real wedding.
According to Rohan Nadkarni, a sports reporter for NBC News, a source connected to the production of Bad Bunny’s halftime show confirmed that the wedding was genuine, performed live during the Super Bowl and broadcast worldwide. The report was later corroborated by MLF Football.
The couple, whose names and nationality have not been made public, invited Bad Bunny to their wedding two months ago. In return, the Puerto Rican star included them in his now-historic halftime performance. It was not merely a symbolic reenactment designed to underline the show’s Latin identity. It was a real ceremony that brought to life the message with which the performance closed at Levi’s Stadium: “The only thing more powerful than hate is love.”
Alongside the newlyweds, the show also featured major figures from the entertainment world, including Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin, Jessica Alba and Pedro Pascal.
Seahawks beat the Patriots
On the field, the Seattle Seahawks beat the New England Patriots 29–13 to win Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium, exacting revenge for the 2015 final, when New England edged Seattle 28–24 in Glendale, Arizona, in a game decided by Malcolm Butler’s goal-line interception of Russell Wilson.
