These are the 5 loudest NFL stadiums where playing at home is a big plus
Home field advantage means everything to a team once they get to the playoffs, but to these NFL teams with the loudest stadiums, it means even more.

For 18 week of the NFL’s regular season teams not only battle to make it to the playoffs, but they battle to position themselves to host as many playoff games at their home stadium as possible.
Home field advantage like no other in sports
Football may be the sport in which home field advantage matters the most. It’s not like the NBA or MLB or NHL where you have a seven game series and both teams get to host games in front of their home fans. The NFL is one and done. Win and you are moving on which means the atmosphere created by the home fans means everything.
You would think that domed stadiums have the advantage when it comes to noise considering it locks everything in to a cacophonous caldron of decibels, but the two loudest stadiums are actually open roofed stadiums.
Lambeau Stadium, Green Bay Packers
One of the oldest stadiums in the league, and one of the most prestigious franchises in sports also has one of the loudest fan bases. They have gone from a great quarterback to another great quarterback and now have a young quarterback who has shown he could be great as the years go on. The winner of the first Super Bowl ever also have one of the top five loudest stadiums in the league. With a max DB level of 123, the team that is a publicly owned franchise has the support of the entire community in Green Bay.

State Farm Stadium, Arizona Cardinals
There hasn’t been a whole lot to cheer about for Cardinals fans in recent years, but when they have a good team, State Farm Stadium gets rocking. They are in a state of the art dome which traps noise, and locks it in. When the fans are at their most boisterous they can reach 130 DBs.

Caesars Superdome, New Orleans Saints
Things have been pretty grim for the Saints over the last few years, but there was a time where New Orleans had one of the best home field advantages in the league. Back in the days of Drew Brees and Sean Payton, this team was on top of the NFL and so was their fan base. I think we all remember the blocked punt on the night the Superdome reopened after Hurricane Katrina. That had to be one of the loudest moments in a stadium that has registered 130 on the decibel scale.

Lumen Stadium, Seattle Seahawks
A lot of players considered Lumen Field to be the loudest in the NFL consistently. The 12th man has been a staple of the Seahawks success for years, and never was that more the case when Marshawn Lynch has one of the most famous runs in NFL history, in a play more commonly known as the “Beastquake.” Lumen Field apparently registered on the Richter scale as Lynch leapt into the endzone. The loudest Lumen has ever been recorded on the decibel scale is 137.6 which puts it 2nd on the list of loudest stadiums in the NFL.

It should come as no surprise that the most successful franchise over the last decade is also the team with the loudest stadium. When you have Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce and Chris Jones on the defensive side of the ball, it’s easy to get behind you team and make a ruckus. But the noise didn’t just come with the success. Arrowhead has been loud for decades, and even before Travis Kelce or Patrick Mahomes took a snap in KC, Chiefs Nation was already setting records. In 2014, Chiefs fans reached a decibel level of 142.2 DB. Since then they have had a sign before players walk out on to the field that says, “Welcome to Arrowhead -- The Loudest Stadium in the World -- 142.2 DB.”
Arrowhead Stadium, my goodness it is loud.
