This is the ankle injury that has kept Patrick Mahomes in the injury report this week: Is he 100%?
The Kansas City Chiefs are desperate to have a fully-firing Patrick Mahomes in the AFC Championship Game against the Buffalo Bills.

The Kansas City Chiefs are two games away from making NFL history as they chase a third successive Super Bowl. However, their success could depend on the fitness of Patrick Mahomes, a three-time Super Bowl MVP, who has been dealing with an ankle injury.
The 29-year-old is on the’ injury report for Sunday’s AFC Championship Game against the Buffalo Bills at Arrowhead Stadium, although that shouldn’t give Chiefs fans too much, if any, cause for concern.

Why is Patrick Mahomes on the Chiefs injury report?
Mahomes has been dealing the issue since December 15, when he was forced off the field in the Week 15 regular season victory over the Cleveland Browns. The following day, the franchise confirmed the QB had been diagnosed with a “mild-high ankle sprain,” but that he would be “considered week-to-week”.
In the end, it hasn’t prevented him from playing on. The Mahomes has featured in three of the Chiefs’ four games since then, the exception being the Week 18 game against the Denver Broncos, when all of the team’s top stars were rested with the AFC West title and the No. 1 seed already clinched.
As a result, the Chiefs benefited from a bye in the Wildcard Round, giving Mahomes some extra time to fully recover ahead of the Divisional Round victory over the Houston Texans on January 18.
Patrick Mahomes' injury status for AFC Championship Game vs Bills
Although Mahomes is listed on the injury report, he has been a full participant in practice this week and Kansas City confirmed on social media on Friday that “there are no injury designations for Sunday’s AFC Championship against the Bills”.

The Chiefs quarterback may be a little sore, as he has been in previous playoff runs and as is common in the NFL, but there is no suggestion he won’t be firing on all cylinders when kickoff against the Bills come around on Sunday.
