Thursday Night Football - How to watch Commanders at Bears on TV
The Chicago Bears and the Washington Commanders will start Week 6 from Soldier Field. Both teams will be looking to bounce back from losses last weekend.
The Chicago Bears and the Washington Commanders get set for a Thursday Night rumble in the Windy City. Both teams are coming off of losses and are quickly losing ground in the playoff race.
Fumble does in Chicago in Minnesota
The “Baby Bears” are a young squad that is under a bit of a rebuilding process, not just on the field, but in the front office. They won two of their first three, against the San Francisco 49ers and the Houston Texans, but have lost their last two games to drop under .500. Both of those losses were one possession games as they lost to the New York Giants 20-12 and the Vikings 29-22 last week.
Justin Fields had the Bears driving down the field with a chance to tie up the game late in the fourth quarter, but an Ihmir Smith-Marsette fumble ended any chances of the Vikings getting a late score to force overtime. Justin Fields had 193 yards and a touchdown, and led the team with 47 yards rushing, but the Bears dropped to 2-3.
Last second pick drops Washington to 1-4
The Commanders have won just one of their first five games to start the season, and it seems like their only strength they have add in their holster is slowly fading. In the first two games of the season they scored 28 points and 36 points, but since then Carson Wentz’s offense has slowed down. They are averaging just over 11 points a game in their last three.
Washington went blow for blow with last year’s AFC regular season champions, the Tennessee Titans. Wentz went for 359 yards and two touchdowns, but his lone interception came at a crucial moment on 3rd and Goal from the Tennessee 2 yard line on the last play of the game.
