Update:

After seven games on injured reserve, Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs is finally back on the practice field, signaling a potential return in Week 15 against the Minnesota Vikings. But even as he readies himself to play again, questions are swirling over whether the two-time Pro Bowler will ever suit up for Dallas again.

Diggs hints at uncertain future with Cowboys

Speaking Friday at The Star in Frisco, Diggs was candid but measured about his future. “Yeah, of course, I love Dallas. But at the end of the day, it’s a business. Whatever happens, happens,” he said.

The cornerback emphasized his readiness to play and his love for the team and its fans, but acknowledged that the final call isn’t his to make.

This season has been a rollercoaster for Diggs. After injuries, a concussion from an off-field incident, and criticism over his rehab and leadership, it seems likely that this could be his final season in Dallas. The Cowboys’ limited cap space and emergence of rookie cornerback Shavon Revel Jr. only add to the uncertainty.

Despite the setbacks, Diggs remains focused on what he can control: performing on the field.

I know who I am, I know what I’m capable of… it’s all about showing it and making the plays I always make,” he said.
