Two-time Super Bowl champion announces retirement
The New England Patriots have confirmed that a franchise stalwart will retire after spending his entire career with the team.

After ten seasons in the NFL, New England Patriots stalwart David Andrews is set to retire from the game.
The 32-year-old went undrafted at the 2025 NFL Draft but was later picked up by the Patriots. Since joining the franchise in 2015 he has gone on to play ten seasons in New England and was named to the Patriots’ All-2010s Team.
Andrews won two Super Bowls with the Patriots but was released back in March, with one year and $8 million in guaranteed payments remaining on his contract. He was only involved in four games in 2024 having suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in Week 4.
