Week 6 NFL injury round-up - which big names are out this weekend
Some major names are out this weekend as the NFL moves into week 6. The Chiefs, Rams, Dolphins and Vikings have byes.
It’s week 6 of the 2024 NFL season and as ever some teams have already racked up a number of injuries in the first five weeks which will impact on their games in week 6. You’ll get injury reports for each team in the links.
Bengals v Giants 8.20 p.m.
The Giants take on the Bengals, and wide receiver Malik Nabers is out with concussion.
Steelers v Raiders 4.05 p.m.
The Raiders, who play the Steelers, will be without star wide receiver Davante Adams, who has been out since week 3 now.
What’s also in doubt is who starts at QB for the Steelers: Russell Wilson or Justin Fields
Lions v Cowboys 4.25 p.m.
Micah Parsons, the Cowboys’ edge rusher, is still suffering from his high-ankle sprain he picked up against the Steelers and won’t play against the Lions.
Also, what injury is Eric Kendricks suffering from?
Bucs v Saints 1 p.m.
The Bucs take on the Saints, and wide receiver Trey Palmer is out with concussion.
Texans v Patriots 1 p.m.
The Houston Texans haven’t won in New England in seven attempts, and if they manage to do it today, they’ll need to do it without the services of trio of cornerback Kamari Lassiter (shoudler), safety Jimmie Ward (groin) and wide receiver Robert Woods (foot).

Cardinals v Packers 1 p.m.
Davonte Wyatt, ankle, won’t be playing for the Packers against the Cardinals. And Zay Jones and Darius Robinson won’t be back for the Cardinals.
Jags v Bears 9.30 a.m.
Over in London, Tyson Campbell won’t be turning out for the Jags at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Their rivals today, the Bears, are without Jaquan Brisker, Zacch, Pickens and Terell Smith.
Quarterback Derek Carr is out for the Saints against the Bucs.

One person who should be having a great weekend is Ann Michael Hudson, longtime girlfriend of the New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye, who makes his first start today against the Houston Texans.

Bye teams in week 6
This week the Chiefs, still with their 100% record, have a bye, along with Rams, the Dolphins and the Vikings.
49ers good news
The 49ers beat the Seahawks on Thursday night, but lost running back Jordan Mason to a shoulder injury. The good news - Christian McCaffrey who has been out long term with achilles tendonitis, could be back by week 10.
