Though he’s still recovering from a torn ACL, suffered in the Rams’ Super Bowl win this past season, the free agent WR has not hesitated to court the market for a new team. Here’s a look at who he short listed.

Odell Beckham Jr. lists 5 teams he’d play for

It’s now Week 5 in the NFL and free agent Odell Beckham Jr. is still without a team to play for. To be fair, the wideout has made it clear that he doesn’t intend to sign for any team, until he’s full recovered from the ACL tear, which he sustained during his former team’s Super Bowl win over the Bengals earlier this year. Needless to say, that has done little to calm the speculation surrounding where he could end up.

Interestingly the topic was mentioned on Thursday, when former NFL player Marcus Spears suggested that Beckham should sign with the Cowboys. Beckham, however, was quick to state that Dallas wasn’t in his travel plans. Following their back and forth, Beckham curiously asked Spears to guess which five teams he might want to play for. Spears obliged by doing just that, at which point Beckham agreed that he had hit the nail on the head. Indeed, Beckham would later take to Twitter where he posted the words “We see eye to eye.” As for what those five teams were, the list - in no order of preference - included the Chiefs, Packers, Rams, Bills and Ravens.

So, what happens with OBJ now?

To be clear, there really aren’t any surprises here. Beckham has never hidden the idea that he wants to play for a team that can challenge for the title. Where the Rams specifically are concerned, we know that they have been trying their best to convince OBJ to return. Quite frankly, the results they haven’t got across the first four weeks, would suggest they need him more than any of the other teams mentioned. If he goes to the Packers, it would be a case of second time a charm. Let’s not forget, Green Bay were leading the pack for his signature before he finally signed for the Rams.

As for the remaining three, let’s be honest. If Beckham joined the chiefs, Mahomes and Co. would become even more dangerous than they already are. The Bills might not be automatic contenders were he to sign up, but rest assured they’d now have a potent double pronged attack with Beckham playing alongside Stefon Diggs. Last but not least, we’ve got the Ravens who clearly have a talented QB in need of decent targets. The signing of Andy Isabella recently is a direct attempt to address that, so it goes without saying that the addition of Beckham could only be a good thing. Ultimately, it will be November before Beckham takes to the field again. With that, he’s got the luxury of time to make a decision, which undoubtedly will be affected by the fortunes of each team in the weeks to come. Watch this space.
