What did Gisele Bundchen say about Tom Brady’s unretirement?
In an exclusive interview with Elle magazine, Gisele Bündchen has broken her silence after her fight with Tom Brady: “I would like him to be more present”.
Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady are one of the longest-lasting couples in the sports and entertainment industry. However, in recent weeks, the two have been grabbing headlines after it was revealed that they had an “epic fight” that put a strain on their marriage.
As reported by Page Six, the model left the quarterback after having a heated argument. Bündchen went to Costa Rica for a few days, leaving Brady to look after the kids at their family compound in Tampa, Florida.
The fight originated from the quarterback’s decision to return from retirement and not leave the NFL, according to the report. Now, a couple of weeks after the news, the Brazilian has broken her silence for an exclusive with Elle, confirming the reasons for their argument.

In the interview, Gisele acknowledged that she would like the quarterback to spend less time on sports in order to be “more present” with their children.
Likewise, the model said she felt that the media had described her as a “desperate” person who only wanted her husband to retire, and she clarified that the professional success of her husband also makes her happy.
“I think this is the system we’ve been living in. That’s what society has accepted and what society hasn’t accepted. Obviously, I have my concerns. This is a very violent sport. I have my children and I would like him to be more present. But ultimately, I also feel like everyone has to make a decision that works for [them]. He also needs to continue with what makes him happy”, she said.
Gisele Bündchen, ready to return to the catwalk?
Gisele also hinted that she is ready to return to the catwalk after retiring from the world of modeling to take care of their children. She says that she feels “accomplished” as a mother and as a wife, and now it’s her turn to tend to her career.
“I feel very fulfilled in that way, as a mother and as a wife, and now it’s going to be my turn. It’s not like I’m going to be in the valley forever”, she said.
Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady got married in 2009 and, currently, they share two children: Vivian Lake, aged nine, and Benjamin, aged 12, in addition to Jack, the 15-year-old son that the quarterback had with actress Bridget Moynahan.
