As one of the highest paid signal callers in the league, you’d expect the Baltimore Ravens’ man in the middle to have a stellar record against most teams in the NFL. Yet, that’s not the case when it comes to Bengals, a team that’s led by one of THE highest earning QB in the league.

A look at Lamar Jackson

Whether you like him or love him, it would be fair to say that the Baltimore Ravens’ quarterback, Lamar Jackson, is one of the most prolific dual-threat QBs in the NFL at the moment. Indeed, at 26 years old, we can also say that he’s really just coming into his own i.e., there is definitely more to come. After entering the league in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, Jackson would go on to secure MVP honors in 2019 on the back of a performance in which he eclipsed the league in passing touchdowns. Behind Tom Brady (2010), he was only the second QB in NFL history win the award by unanimous vote after he threw 3,100 yards and 36 touchdowns, while adding another 1,200 yards and seven TDs on the ground. Of course, this is all the preamble, what’s really in focus is how Jackson has matched up against the team he’s about to face, one which has been to the last two straight AFC championship games, the Cincinnati Bengals.

So, what’s Lamar Jackson’s record against the Bengals?

In total Jackson has faced the Bengals on nine occasions and to the credit of both he and his team, it’s been a favorable run. Coming into to their Week 12 ‘Thursday Night Football’ clash against Joe Burrow and Co., Jackson and the Ravens has a 7-2 record.
