When was the last time the Dallas Cowboys won a postseason game on the road?

The Dallas Cowboys will begin the next phase of their campaign to win the Lombardi trophy which has eluded them since their last Super Bowl victory in 1995.

The Dallas Cowboys are making a playoff appearance for the third year in a row, and they will be trying to redeem themselves from their disappointing loss to the San Francisco 49ers at home in the Divisional Round last year.

The Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys are set to face off for the first time in the postseason. Mike McCarthy, now with the Cowboys, faces his old team, the Packers, who have become one of the league’s best under head coach Matt LaFleur. Despite narratives suggesting a decline post-Aaron Rodgers, the Packers have proven to be a force to be reckoned with.

LaFleur’s coaching insight has been key to the Packers’ recent success, with quarterback Jordan Love finding his rhythm, supported by a solid offensive line and a resurgent running game led by Aaron Jones. The multidimensional Packers offense will test the Cowboys’ defense, making this matchup a formidable challenge for the Cowboys.

The last time the Dallas Cowboys won a postseason game on the road

The Dallas Cowboys are scheduled to play their Wild Card round match at their home stadium, AT&T Stadium. In the past, the Cowboys haven’t performed well during playoff games that are played away from their home turf.

However, things changed last year on January 16th when they defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Prescott had an outstanding performance, throwing for four touchdowns and scoring another by running. This win was a response to the critics of “America’s Team,” and it was a 31-14 triumph over Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in an NFC wild-card playoff game on Monday night. This game turned out to be Tom Brady’s final game.

Before this win, the Cowboys had not won a playoff game outside of their home stadium for 30 years. Their last away playoff game win was against the San Francisco 49ers in 1992. The Cowboys had gone through eight unsuccessful away playoff games in their postseason history since then.
