Which colleges have the most players invited to the 2026 NFL Combine?
The NFL released the list of the 319 NFL Draft prospects that were invited to the Scouting Combine in a few weeks. These schools were the most-represented.
The NFL’s recently released list of 319 prospects invited to the 2026 Scouting Combine, set for February 23 through March 2 in Indianapolis, offers an early taste of which college programs are producing the most pro-ready talent this draft cycle.
A few programs have already stood out with notable numbers of invites, demonstrating their strength in developing NFL prospects.
2026 Combine invite leaders: Alabama, Texas, Notre Dame and more
Texas A&M leads the way
The Aggies topped the list with 13 players invited, making them the school with the most representation at this year’s combine.
Their class features a strong mix of offensive linemen, defensive linemen, and linebackers, demonstrating the depth of talent across multiple position groups.
Alabama’s double-digit presence
The Crimson Tide remain one of the nation’s premier NFL pipelines, sending 12 players to the combine. Alabama’s invitees span skill positions, offensive line, and defensive playmakers, reflecting the program’s long-standing reputation as a pro-ready talent factory.
Alabama has now had double-digit combine invitees in nine of the past 10 years, reflecting its persistent role as an NFL talent factory.
Ohio State makes a big statement
The Buckeyes are tied for third for invite totals, sending 11 prospects to Indianapolis. The class includes a mix of offensive and defensive talent, further cementing Ohio State’s status as one of college football’s most consistently NFL-ready programs.
LSU also well-represented
The Tigers are tied with Ohio State for 11 invites, highlighting LSU’s continued reputation as a breeding ground for NFL talent. LSU’s list includes standout skill players, wide receivers, and defensive studs, showing the depth across multiple positions.
Why these college programs are dominating the 2026 NFL Combine
Programs with multiple invitees typically share a few traits. They play regularly against top competition, they develop players across multiple position groups, and they attract pro-caliber recruits year after year. With the NFL Combine functioning as a spotlight for future draft picks, these schools are poised to have multiple Day 1 and Day 2 selections.
It’s also worth watching smaller or non-blue-blood programs at the combine. While they may not match the invite numbers of Alabama or LSU, breakout players from less traditional pipelines often elevate their draft stock dramatically in Indianapolis.
With the combine still ahead, we’ll get a clearer view of positions, athletic testing, and who might be poised to climb draft boards. But for now, A&M, Alabama, Ohio State, and LSI+U stand out as the schools with the deepest early representation, suggesting those rosters will be well-represented in the early rounds of April’s NFL Draft.
