Which NFL players have big playoff bonuses?
This weekend is the Wild Card round of the NFL playoffs. The likes of Aaron Rodgers and Keenan Allen have bonuses on the line.

The Pittsburgh Steelers booked their place in the NFL playoffs with a dramatic victory over the Baltimore Ravens last weekend. That one game may have earned Aaron Rodgers a lot of money.
Ahead of the 2025 season Rodgers signed with the Steelers on a one-year, bonus-heavy deal that prioritizes playoff success. By securing a spot in the postseason, Rodgers earns an additional $500,000.
But that is just the start. As the playoffs go on each round carries a bigger prize for victory. A wild ward win will earn another $600,000; a divisional round is worth $750,000. If the Steelers win the AFC championship Rodgers bags $1 million, while a Super Bowl victory earns another $1.5 million.

All in, if Rodgers leads the Steelers to a Super Bowl triumph, while playing at least 50% of the offensive snaps, he will earn a combined $5.85 million in bonuses.
Which players have playoff bonuses?
Bonus-heavy contracts are nothing new in the NFL, allowing teams to insulate themselves from poor seasons while offering a financial incentive to players.
Similar to Rodgers’ deal, Keenan Allen’s contract with the Los Angeles Chargers includes a $750,000 bonus that was triggered by playoff qualification. Allen’s payout is also linked to the number of successful catches (81) that he put up in the regular season. Going forward, Allen will receive an additional $250,000 for each postseason victory.
Quarterback Sam Darnold has a variety of performance-related bonuses for the Seattle Seahawks, including a $500,000 bonus for finishing with more than 4,000 regular season passing yards. In the postseason Darnold has bonuses for each round that the Seahawks advance to, including a $2.5 million payout for a Super Bowl win.
Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert took a $4.25 million pay cut to remain with the team for the final year of his current deal, but can earn back $1 million in bonuses. Of that, $500,000 is related to the team’s postseason progression.
Finally, when Jauan Jennings pushed for an improved contract last year, the San Francisco 49ers added $3 million worth of incentives for the wide receiver. Every time Jennings features for at least 35 plays in a postseason game, he gets a $600,000 bonus. He hit that figure in every one of his 15 regular season appearances, suggesting that he could be in line for a big payday if the 49ers go deep.
