The National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) is a professional organization representing players’ interests in the National Football League (NFL). The primary objective of the NFLPA is to improve the overall working conditions of players, which includes everything from negotiating fair contracts to enhancing the daily experiences of players at team facilities away from the lights and cameras.

The NFLPA is committed to ensuring that players are treated with respect and dignity and have access to the resources and support they need to succeed both on and off the field. Through collective bargaining agreements, advocacy efforts, and other initiatives, the NFLPA works tirelessly to ensure that players can achieve their full potential and enjoy a fulfilling career in the NFL. One of those initiatives was started two years ago when the association asked their players to grade their teams in an anonymous survey that is supposed to be presented publicly afterward.

Coaches and Owners graded by their players

In many of the brackets, players were asked to rate their head coaches and team owners.

Coaches

After reviewing the grades, it became apparent that only one coach received a grade below a C. This coach was the coach of the Las Vegas Raiders, who received a D. It is suspected that this grade refers to Josh McDaniels, who was released midway through the season and replaced by Antonio Pierce. Pierce was initially hired as an interim coach but was eventually promoted to the head coach position at the end of the season. The coaches of the Atlanta Falcons (Raheem Morris) and the Washington Commanders (Dan Quinn) received a C+ and a C, respectively, from their players.

On the other end of the survey, we have three coaches who received perfect scores of A+. These coaches are Dan Campbell of the Detroit Lions, Andy Reid of the Kansas City Chiefs, and Kevin O’Connell of the Minnesota Vikings.

Owners

The players were very critical while grading the owners, with three F’s being given out. Surprisingly, Michael Bidwill of the Arizona Cardinals and the Rooney family, who own the Pittsburgh Steelers, both received F’s. However, the most shocking grade was an F- given to Clark Hunt, the owner of the Super Bowl LVIII champions, the Kansas City Chiefs. It’s unclear whether this grade was a joke by the Chiefs players or their honest assessment of their management’s leadership.
