Which NFL team has the most International Series wins and the best record?
From London to Brazil, certain NFL teams have thrived while others still search for their first win abroad.

The first NFL International Series game of the 2025 season takes place on Friday, Sept. 7, when the Kansas City Chiefs face AFC West rivals the Los Angeles Chargers in São Paulo, Brazil. It will be only the second-ever NFL matchup played in the South American country.
NFL continues global expansion
Since the International Series began in 2007, 48 games have been played in four different venues outside the United States: London (39), Mexico City (4), Germany (4) and Brazil (1).
This year, three more games will be staged in London, while Germany and Brazil each host another. The NFL will also debut in Madrid, Spain, and Dublin, Ireland, marking the league’s first visits to both countries.
Chiefs unbeaten on international stage
If past results are any indication, the Chiefs could have the upper hand in Brazil. Kansas City has played three International Series games and won all of them.
They are one of six franchises with a perfect record outside the U.S. The Minnesota Vikings lead that group with four wins from four games. The Chiefs, San Francisco 49ers (three), Philadelphia Eagles (two), Carolina Panthers (two) and Dallas Cowboys (one) also remain undefeated abroad.
Jaguars lead the way in overseas wins
The Vikings’ perfect record puts them slightly ahead of the Chiefs, but Jacksonville tops the all-time list for total International Series victories. The Jaguars have won seven games outside the United States.
That success comes largely because they have played more international games than any other team. Jacksonville has appeared 13 times, more than double the Miami Dolphins’ total of six.
London remains Jaguars’ second home
All 13 of Jacksonville’s international games have been played in London, where the franchise has built a long-term presence. Owner Shahid Khan, who purchased the team in 2011, also owns Premier League club Fulham, giving the Jaguars deep ties to the city.

Records for losses abroad
While Jacksonville has the most wins, they also lead in losses, with six. The Dolphins rank second with five defeats from six games.
The Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills, Green Bay Packers and Tennessee Titans have all lost both of their international appearances. Meanwhile, the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers were beaten in their only games outside the U.S.
One-time travelers abroad
The Cowboys, Browns, Steelers and Washington Commanders are the only franchises to have played just one International Series game. That, though, will change this year, with the Browns to face the Vikings in London, while the Commanders will take on the Dolphins in Madrid.
Washington’s lone outing was the only tie in series history, a 2016 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals in London.
