The Pro Football Hall of Fame celebrates players, coaches and other persons who have made exceptional contributions to the game of American football, both before and during the NFL era. Since the first group of players was inducted in 1963, a total of 371 people have been added to the illustrious list.

The Green Bay Packers have a rich history and boast a number of iconic Hall of Famers, particularly from their successful years under legendary coach Vince Lombardi. Likewise the Steelers have also enjoyed period of real dominance in the NFL, especially during the 1970s. Many of their players from that era, including the famed “Steel Curtain” defence, have been enshrined in the Hall of Fame.

However it is the Chicago Bears who boast the greatest number of former stars in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The Bears are one of the oldest franchises in the league and their personnel have had a seismic impact on the NFL’s history. Players like Walter Payton and Mike Singletary are just a two of the illustrious names to have worn the Bears’ iconic navy and orange.

With a limited number of spots in each intake, accession to the Pro Football Hall of Fame is a major achievement for the player and a point of pride for the teams that they represented. Here’s a look at the ten NFL teams with the most Hall of Famers...
