Who are the highest-paid NFL players? Where does CeeDee Lamb rank?

After a long and tense holdout, the Dallas Cowboys and CeeDee Lamb have finally come to an agreement on a contract extension. The Cowboys offered their star wide receiver a four-year, $136 million contract - an annual $34 million - making him the second-highest paid non-quarterback (tied with 49ers DE Nick Bosa) after Minnesota Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson, who’s recent extension sees him making $35 million a year.

Quarterbacks still dominate as the highest-paid players in the league though, with the highest-paid out of all NFL players being a three-way tie with Cincinnati Bengals’ Joe Burrow, Green Bay Packers’ Jordan Love, and Jacksonville Jaguars’ Trevor Lawrence, who are all earning $55 million per year. They also happen to be the highest-paid NFL players of all time.

List of highest-paid NFL players in 2024

Unsurprisingly, the top 18 highest-paid players in the league this year are all quarterbacks. Of all receivers, Lamb ranks second behind Jefferson, but on the list of players of all positions, he’s ranked at number 20 - still, not bad.
