The race to reach the Super Bowl has begun, as this weekend the Wild Card games begin in the NFL.

Several players have been key in keeping their teams in contention, and who better than the players themselves to select the best of the season.

The NFL Players Association unveiled the first All-Pro team that is chosen exclusively by their colleagues on the field.

Previously, people from the media voted for the all-star team, but the NFL finally recognized the importance of the opinion of those who are also on the field of play.

Only active players who had not missed more than five games before Week 15 of the regular season could vote.

This is the All-Pro team roster:

Players on offense

  • Quarterback: Patrick Mahomes (Kansas City Chiefs)
  • Running back: Josh Jacobs (Las Vegas Raiders)
  • Wide receiver: Justin Jefferson (Minnesota Vikings)
