Who should I start in Fantasy Football? NFL Week 15 roster recommendations by position
As we enter Week 15 of the NFL season, you are either heading into your fantasy postseason or just about to. Here is our recommendation for who to start.

With just four weeks left in the NFL regular season, playoffs are already beginning in the fantasy world. Depending on your league, your playoffs may be starting this week or next week. Either way, your lineup in Week 15 will be crucial.
Thankfully, there are no more bye weeks in the season, so we don’t have to consider that this week. There are injuries, however. Here are some key ones to keep in mind when setting your fantasy lineup this week.
Key injuries in Week 15
- Rams QB Justin Herbert (leg) - Questionable
- Saints QB Derek Carr (concussion/hand) - Questionable
- Raiders QB Aidan O'Connell (knee) - Questionable
- Titans QB Will Levis (shoulder) - Questionable
- Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving (back) - Questionable
- Seahawk RB Kenneth Walker (calf) - Questionable
- 49ers RB Isaac Guerendo (foot) - Questionable
- Panthers RB Jonathan Brooks (knee) - OUT
- Steelers WR George Pickens (hamstring) - Questionable
- Packers WR Romeo Doubs (concussion) - Questionable
- Browns WR Cedric Tillman (concussion) - Questionable
- Rams WR Demarcus Robinson (shoulder) - Questionable
- Rams TE Tyler Higbee (knee) - PUP
- Chargers TE Will Dissly (shoulder) - Doubtful
With all that in mind, here are our recommended fantasy starters for Week 15.
NFL Fantasy Football Week 15: recommended starters
Quarterbacks
Brock Purdy, 49ers (vs Rams): Week 13 was a dud for Purdy, but he had the good excuse of a snowstorm. He bounced back in Week 14 with a 325-yard, two-touchdown performance. This week, he has a matchup against a Rams team that just allowed a record 51.88 fantasy points to Bills QB Josh Allen. The last time the Niners played the Rams, Purdy put up 292 passing yards and three touchdowns. He’s a start in Week 15.

Aaron Rodgers, Jets (@ Jaguars): Rodgers has not been a weekly starter, and likely isn’t even rostered in your league. But if there was ever a week to start him, it’s this one. In fact, Rodgers has been trending upward over the last few weeks and just threw for a season-high 339 yards in Week 14 plus a pair of touchdown passes. The matchup against the Jaguars is favorable, as they have allowed the most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season.
Running backs
Rico Dowdle, Cowboys (@ Panthers): Dowdle has completely taken over the Cowboys' backfield and just had back-to-back 100-yard games. On Monday, he rushed 18 times for a career-high 131 yards, including a game-long run of 27 yards. This week, he has a favorable matchup against the Panthers. Despite their recent improvement in play, the Panthers are still giving up the most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs.

Brian Robinson Jr., Commanders (@ Saints): Robinson has been dealing with injuries this season, but this week, he’ll be coming off the bye week with plenty of time to have rested. In addition to that, he has a few things working in his favor against the Saints - they will likely be without QB Derek Carr, giving the Commanders more rushing opportunities in a positive game script, and the Saints are allowing the fourth-most fantasy points per game to running backs.
Wide receivers
Juaun Jennings, 49ers (vs Rams): When targeted, Jennings does well. And with Brandon Aiyuk, Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Mason out, and potentially Isaac Guerendo as well, he should be seeing some volume. The last time the Niners faced the Rams, Jennings had 11 catches on 12 targets for 175 yards and three touchdowns, so the matchup is good too.
Jauan Jennings has now played in 5 games with Brock Purdy and without one of Deebo Samuel or Brandon Aiyuk:

Jakobi Meyers, Raiders (vs Falcons): Meyers has been a reliable receiver lately, putting up at least 13 points in six of his last seven games. His seven catches were a team high in Week 14 as well as his 10 targets. The matchup with the Falcons is in his favor as they have allowed a league-high 20 touchdowns to WRs this season.
Tight ends
Juwan Johnson, Saints (vs Commanders): Despite the fact that Derek Carr may be out, and maybe even more so because of it, Johnson is likely to be a top target with Chris Olave, Rashid Shaheed, and Taysom Hill all out. In Week 14’s win over the Giants, Johnson had four catches on five targets for 50 yards and their one passing touchdown, his second in the last three games.

Kyle Pitts, Falcons (@ Raiders): The Falcons will be playing a must-win game against the Raiders and though Pitts hasn’t been as reliable lately as he was earlier in the season, he has a favorable matchup against the Raiders defense. They’ve given up the third-most non-PPR points to tight ends.
