Travis Kelce’s representatives have strenuously denied suggestions the Kansas City Chiefs star is planning to break up with pop superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift on September 28, 2024 after a fake PR contract was ‘leaked’ online and went viral.

Documents titled ‘Comprehensive Media Plan For Travis Kelce’s Relations Following Breakup with Taylor Swift’ were originally posted on Reddit but have since been deleted.

Full Scope, the company that runs Kelce’s PR, told People the documents are “entirely false and fabricated and were not created, issued or authorized by this agency”. It has also stated it will be taking legal action against “the individuals or entities responsible for the unlawful and injurious forgery of documents.”

Swift’s growing interest in the NFL

Just two days ago, in an interview on The Rich Eisen Show in which he spoke about his retirement and life after football, Kelce spoke about Swift’s growing interest in the NFL and joked she had “created plays” for him to carry out on the field, although none of them have made as far as Chiefs coach Andy Reid just yet.

The two got together in the summer of 2023 after Kelce’s very public chase of the “Shake It Off” singer, and she quickly began a regular feature at Chiefs games across the United States (when not on tour), which has had a significant impact on NFL fandom and viewership.

Sources have confirmed Swift will be attending Kansas City’s home game against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, the opening game of the 2024 NFL season. And with talks of a break-up very much fake news, we can expect to see her at Arrowhead Stadium - and beyond - plenty more in the next few months.
