Why is there no ManningCast for the Browns vs Broncos week 13 Monday Night Football game?

Peyton and Eli Manning will not be casting their eye over the first MNF of December, returning for Dallas Cowboys - Cincinnati Bengals next week.

The Thanksgiving weekend of NFL action concludes with the Week 13 meeting between the Cleveland Browns and the Denver Broncos in Monday Night Football.

Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy returns to face the Broncos, who took him in the 2020 NFL Draft, for the first time since leaving Denver. However there will be two familiar faces missing from the MNF action; Peyton and Eli Manning will not be providing their usual ManningCast alternative commentary.

There’s no specific reason for this, but the legendary brothers have only been scheduled for 11 weeks of action during the 2024 NFL season. Perhaps eager to enjoy a long Thanksgiving celebration, the Mannings have got the weekend off.

The Browns - Broncos clash will be broadcast live on the main ESPN channel, with options to stream the action on fuboTV too.

Which games are scheduled for the ManningCast in 2024?

As we approach the final stretch of the 2024 regular season, there are only two more dates scheduled for ManningCast. The Week 14 meeting between the Cincinnati Bengal and the Dallas Cowboys (December 9) will be the final regular season game to be covered by the Mannings, before the Wild Card game on January 13 is their last show of the season.

ManningCast was first aired in September 2021 as an alternative the the regular coverage of a Monday Night Football game between the Las Vegas Raiders and the Baltimore Ravens. It proved so popular that in February 2022 ESPN agreed a deal to extend the coverage through the 2024 season, signing a contract with Peyton Manning’s ‘Omaha Productions’ company.

Later in 2022 the show was awarded a Sports Emmy Award for Outstanding Live Sports Series and, earlier this year, a bumper new deal was signed with Omaha Productions to ensure that ESPN retain their services until 2034.
