Linebacker Alex Highsmith will miss his second consecutive game for the Pittsburgh Steelers today, as Mike Tomlin’s men visit the Cleveland Browns in a Week 12 Thursday Night Football match-up in Ohio.

What injury does Alex Highsmith have?

Highsmith is listed as ‘out’ on the Steelers’ official injury report for the Browns game, having missed team practice since twisting his ankle in Pittsburgh’s Week 10 win over the Washington Commanders on November 10.

Earlier this season, the 27-year-old also missed three games, in Weeks 4 to 6, after sustaining a groin injury.

Cory Trice Jr, who hasn’t played since Week 3 due to a hamstring issue, also remains ‘out’ on the Steelers’ injury report. The cornerback has been a full participant in practice this week, but Pittsburgh have opted against reactivating the 24-year-old from their injured reserve list ahead of Thursday’s game.

What is the Steelers' record after Week 11?

The Steelers head into Week 12 with an 8-2 record, having won their last five NFL games in a row. Most recently, the Pennsylvanians edged out the Baltimore Ravens 18-16 in a Week 11 contest at Acrisure Stadium.

The Browns, meanwhile, have exactly the opposite record to their visitors. Kevin Stefanski’s men have slipped to 2-8 after successive defeats, to the Los Angeles Chargers and the New Orleans Saints.
