In Week 14 of the 2023 NFL season, the New England Patriots will miss some key players for their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Demario Douglas (concussion), running back Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle), wide receiver Kayshon Boutte (shoulder), and CB Shaun Wade (illness) have all been listed as out for the game. Stevenson, who suffered a high ankle sprain, is expected to miss a few weeks.

Moving on to the 2023 regular season, where Rhamondre Stevenson has confirmed himself as a prevailing force on the field for the Patriots and their running game. At 6 feet tall and weighing 227 pounds, Stevenson, wearing the number 38, plays a crucial role in coach Belichik’s offensive strategy.

Throughout the season, Stevenson has carried the ball an impressive 156 times, gaining 619 rushing yards. He has also scored four touchdowns, demonstrating his ability to turn those rare opportunities into points.

Stevenson’s average of 4.0 yards per carry has made him a valuable asset to the versatility of the Patriots’ offense.

With Stevenson’s injury that will keep him sidelined for a few weeks, the team’s rushing attack improved before his injury, ranked second in EPA per rush since Week 6. Veteran RB Ezekiel Elliott will now have to take on most of the workload, with Elliott having a season-high 21 touches in last week’s game.

However, he still needs to improve his pass protection skills since he allowed a season-high three quarterback pressures in the loss to the Chargers.
