Will Deebo Samuel be back for the Super Bowl vs the Chiefs?
After not being listed on the injury report all week, it appears the San Francisco 49ers will in fact have one of the biggest weapons for Sunday’s big game.
The following is an update on the injury status of the San Francisco 49ers’ key players. Several players, including Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel, and Trent Williams, have been dealing with injuries throughout the year. However, many of these players have recovered, and the latest injury updates for Super Bowl 58 are as follows:
As you can see, the 49ers are currently in good health. Despite concerns about Deebo Samuel’s shoulder injury in the past two weeks, he could play in the NFC Championship Game without issues. He was removed from the injury designation list entirely. During the game, Samuel looked great, leading the team with eight receptions for 89 yards. Although he did not score in the last game against the Lions, he displayed strength and form returning from injury.
This season, Samuel has scored an impressive 12 touchdowns, seven of which were through receptions and five through rushing. Fans hope he will continue to find the end zone in the upcoming Super Bowl 58 game. The Chiefs’ defense has been strong throughout the season, allowing only 19 passing touchdowns. However, Samuel’s after-the-catch ability is a key factor that could potentially lead to scoring opportunities. The Chiefs have conceded 11 passing touchdowns to wide receivers and four to tight ends, creating a favorable environment for Samuel to make a difference in the game.
