However, Cincinnati head coach Zac Taylor struck a reassuring tone when speaking to reporters in midweek, explaining that the player’s knee was “just sore”. Burrow was a full participant in practice on Friday.

The 28-year-old, who was also listed as carrying an ongoing wrist issue, has now been removed from Cincinnati’s injury report for the trip to Tennessee.

Burrow’s preparations for this weekend’s crucial Titans clash have been further disrupted by a burglary to his home during Monday’s Week 14 win over the Dallas Cowboys. In the wake of the break-in, media outlets that had gained access to the incident’s police report then sparked speculation over the QB’s private life: per the report, it was swimsuit model Olivia Ponton, not Burrow’s girlfriend Olivia Holzmacher, who notified law enforcement of the burglary.

“I feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one,” Burrow told reporters on Wednesday. “Way more is out there than I would want out there and that I care to share.”
