Will Kelvin Beachum and Jackson Barton play for the Cardinals against the Commanders? O-line injury status

The Arizona team is back home this week for a matchup against Washington. They hope to rebound after their tough loss against the Lions.

The Washington Commanders won’t make it easy as they come into this game with a 2-1 record and a sense of optimism that has been rare for their fanbase in recent years. The Commanders, led by their young quarterback, have finally started to play well, and Daniels has certainly caught the league’s attention.

In Week 3, Jayden Daniels had, in all terms, a breakout performance, throwing for over 250 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions. He made history with his first-ever touchdown pass to offensive lineman Trent Scott. Wide receiver Terry McLaurin also had a standout game, recording over 100 yards and a touchdown to seal the win for Washington.

Arizona Cardinals: Beachum and Barton’s injury status

Arizona’s defense will face a tall task, especially after a shaky performance against the Detroit Lions last week. The Cardinals gave up two passing touchdowns to Jared Goff, who finished with a passer rating over 110 and allowed 75 yards and a score to wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown. Arizona’s secondary will need to tighten up if they hope to contain Daniels and McLaurin, especially after giving up 118 yards and two touchdowns to Cincinnati’s Ja’Marr Chase the week before.

The Cardinals had trouble with their running game last week, with James Conner managing only 17 rushing yards. Kyler Murray performed well, rushing for 45 yards, but struggled in the passing game, throwing for just 207 yards with one touchdown and an interception.

The left tackle position was vulnerable last week due to injury issues. The good news this week is that Kelvin Beachum is continuing to make progress. He’s practicing in a limited capacity for another practice. If he can play, it’ll be a major boost to the offensive line while Jonah Williams remains on IR.

Jackson Barton, who was elevated from the practice squad for the Lions game and played well in Beachum’s absence, was placed on the practice squad injured reserve list after he left Sunday’s game early with a toe injury.
