Will Taylor Swift be at the Chiefs vs 49ers game today, Sunday October 20?
As ever, the big question ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs game is: will Travis Kelce’s pop icon girlfriend be there to watch him?
Don’t expect to see pop superstar Taylor Swift in the stands today at Levi’s Stadium, where boyfriend Travis Kelce is in action for the Kansas City Chiefs against the San Francisco 49ers.
Swift tonight completes a three-day run of concerts in Miami, as part of her ongoing, highly lucrative Eras Tour. Her show at Hard Rock Stadium begins at 6:45 p.m. ET - just two hours and 20 minutes after the Chiefs vs the 49ers kicks off in Santa Clara, some 3,000 miles away.
Given that it would take Swift around five hours to fly from Santa Clara back to Miami, there’s no way she could watch the game in California and return to Florida in time. What’s more, the average NFL clash takes three hours and 12 minutes to complete, per Pro Football Network, so even if her concert were happening next door to Levi’s Stadium, she would struggle to combine both activities.
How many Chiefs games has Swift attended this season?
Swift, who has been a regular Chiefs watcher since becoming an item with Kelce in 2023, has so far attended three out of the Chiefs' five NFL games this season. The 14-time Grammy Award winner was in the stands for both of the Chiefs’ first two outings in 2024 - victories over the Baltimore Ravens and the Cincinnati Bengals at Arrowhead Stadium - but missed the team’s road wins over the Atlanta Falcons and the Los Angeles Chargers in Weeks 3 and 4, respectively.
Swift was then back in the stands in Week 5, as the Chiefs maintained their 100% record in 2024 with a 26-13 home triumph over the New Orleans Saints. There was no game for her to attend in Week 6 last weekend, as Kansas City were one of four teams that had a bye.
Will Swift be at the Chiefs' Week 8 game?
After today’s clash at Levi’s Stadium, Swift is also set to miss the Chiefs' Week 8 trip to face the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday October 27: on the same day, the 34-year-old is due to close out a three-night run of concerts in New Orleans. The show at Caesars Superdome, located around 1,750 miles away from Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium, also begins only two hours and 20 minutes after the Chiefs vs the Raiders kicks off.
