The Kansas City Chiefs are back on the road this weekend aiming to bounce back after last week’s 30-21 loss to the Bills in Buffalo - the team’s first defeat of the season.

Taylor Swift wasn’t on hand to cheer Travis Kelce and Co. on at Highmark Stadium despite having a short break in her itinerary.

A week earlier, the 14-time Grammy winner watched the Chiefs 16-14 win against the Denver Broncos from her private suite at Arrowhead stadium on 10 November. But that was the last time she turned up to show her support.

There has been no official word from Swift’s camp as to whether she will attend today’s Week 11 game against the Panthers.

Taylor Swift: six nights in Toronto

On Saturday, the singer performed a three and a half-hour set in front of 50,000 fans in the last of six sellout shows at the Rogers Centre in Toronto.

Her record-breaking Eras Tour reaches its climax next month in Vancouver. Taylor has spent the best part of two years on the road and the final three shows of her 149-date globetrotting tour will take place at BC Place in Vancouver from 6-8 December.

Swift has 12 days off until her next show so in theory, she could travel down to Charlotte to cheer the Chiefs on at Bank of America Stadium later today.

However, she also had a break in her timetable last week but opted not to go to New York for the matchup against the Bills.

In fact she hasn’t attended a Chiefs road trip game this season.

Swift attended 13 Chiefs games last season - including a few away games. She watched the Chiefs in action in New York, Massachusetts and Green Bay as well as the Super Bowl LVIII triumph at Allegiant Stadium in Nevada back in February.

But it is believed that for security concerns, she won’t be travelling to any away games in the immediate future. Since the terrorist threat in Austria last summer, extra measures have been taken to protect Taylor and her team. She has her own private suite at Arrowhead where security can be closely controlled by the Chiefs.

At least from 9 December onward, she will have more free time and be able to attend as many Chiefs home games as she likes.

How many Chiefs games has Swift attended in the 2024 NFL season?

Swift has been a regular Chiefs watcher this season, attending five of the team’s nine games to date. The 34-year-old was in Missouri for the victories over the Baltimore Ravens and the Cincinnati Bengals on September 5 and 15, respectively, before also cheering her beau Kelce on from the sidelines in the home win over the New Orleans Saints. She was at Arrowhead as the Super Bowl champions beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and again at the start of this month, wearing a red and black plaid combo for the win over the Broncos.

Swift has missed all five of the Chiefs’ road games this season: the Atlanta Falcons on September 22, the Los Angeles Chargers on September 29, the San Francisco 49ers on October 20, the Las Vegas Raiders on October 27 and last week’s game against the Bills.

Chiefs vs Panthers: when, where, how to watch?

The game between the Chiefs and the Panthers will be played at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte Orchard Park, New York, on Sunday November 24, with kick off scheduled for 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT.

Viewers in the US can watch the game on CBS and Paramount+. If you don’t have cable, you can stream CBS’s coverage on the online platform fuboTV (free trial available).

The Chiefs missed the chance to set a new franchise record of 10-0 with last week’s defeat at the Buffalo Bills - the team’s first regular season defeat in 11 months. Andy Reid’s men remain top of the AFC West (9-1).

It’s a different story for the Panthers who are 3-7 in 2024 - but appear to be on the up after winning their last two games. Carolina beat the New Orleans Saints and the New York Giants in Weeks 8 and 9, before being given a bye in the most recent round of games.
