After 18 weeks of regular season action, the NFL playoffs are finally here and there’s three days of football to look forward to this weekend.

Stand-out games from the Wild Card round include the Baltimore Ravens taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Buffalo Bills against the Denver Broncos. The weekend’s action will be brought to a close with a fascinating Monday Night Football meeting between the LA Rams and the Minnesota Vikings.

The Rams - Vikings clash will be televised in the United States on ESPN and ABC with viewing options also available on FuboTV (Free Trial). For those who appreciate the in-depth coverage, there will also be a Monday night Manningcast for the Wild Card round.

The Vikings came within one game of taking top spot in the NFC but slipped to No. 5 seed after slipping to a 14-3 record on the season. Nevertheless, they are the first 14-win team to play in the Wild Card game. The Rams had a respectable 10-7 record in 2024 but they come into the game as clear underdogs.

ManningCast schedule for NFL playoffs

This weekend may herald the start of the postseason but it also brings the end of the Manningcast. The Wild Card round matchup between the Rams and the Vikings will be the last of the 11 Manningcast shows for the season. In each of the three previous years of the show, the Wild Card game has been the final Manningcast.

ManningCast was first aired in September 2021 as an alternative the the regular coverage of a Monday Night Football game between the Las Vegas Raiders and the Baltimore Ravens. It proved so popular that in February 2022 ESPN agreed a deal to extend the coverage through the 2024 season, signing a contract with Peyton Manning’s ‘Omaha Productions’ company.

Later in 2022 the show was awarded a Sports Emmy Award for Outstanding Live Sports Series and, earlier this year, a bumper new deal was signed with Omaha Productions to ensure that ESPN retain their services until 2034.
