2024 Olympics in Paris tennis schedule: dates and times for men’s and women’s matches, format, brackets

The world’s best tennis players are ready to compete for the medals. The event, one of the biggest attractions, will be held at the French Open facilities.

All is set and ready in Paris for the Olympic tennis tournament. The best ATP and WTA players around the globe will fight for a medal in one of the most special sports events.

It will be the first time for quite a few players in the men’s and women’s categories, while the more veteran players will try to take advantage of their experience to clinch a medal, possibly the gold, in a tournament that will be played on the French Open’s clay courts.

Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, and Alexander Zverev are among the top candidates to reign supreme in the Summer Games, while Iga Swiatek, Jasmine Paolini, and Coco Gauff are some of the strongest players in the women’s bracket.

2024 Olympics in Paris tennis schedule

Tennis at the Paris Olympics will start with the opening-round games on July 27 and will run until August 4.

The first matches, on Saturday 27, will include men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles and women’s doubles first-round clashes. Play will begin each day at 6 a.m. ET / 3 a.m. PT. US time.

The tennis tournament features single elimination, with the singles draws consisting of 64 players, doubles draws consisting of a draw size of 32, and mixed doubles containing 16 pairs. Players who make it to the semifinal of their draws will be in contention to win a medal and players that lose in the semifinals will play the bronze medal game.
