In which sports did China dominate at the Paralympic Games?

China’s impressive medal haul was mainly driven by its outstanding achievements in para track and field and para-swimming.

Their prowess was evident as they clinched 21 golds and 59 total medals in track and field and 22 golds and 54 total medals in swimming. If we focus solely on the gold medals from these two sports, China’s performance would trail only behind Great Britain’s.

Team USA performed exceptionally well in both track and field and in swimming, securing 10 gold medals in each sport. In para-track and field, the American athletes accumulated a total of 38 medals, while in para-swimming, they achieved 30 medals. In addition to these achievements, Team USA also secured gold medals in para-equestrian (5), para-cycling (4), para-triathlon (3), para archery (2), wheelchair basketball (1), and sitting volleyball (1).
