The corner kick is played short and Egypt quickly win another throw-in. They're keeping it in the corner, surely the time is up now?!
Egypt are still coming forward when they get the opportunity. They force their way into the box with Ahmed Atef and the full-back wins a corner kick for his team.
We're now over the allotted ten minutes of added time. We had an injury and substitutions during stoppage time, but how much longer?
Fermin Lopez is pulled down as he tries to bring Spain forward. A good foul to give away, from an Egyptian point of view.
Ibrahim Adel comes close again!
Nearly a third for the Egyptian No. 10.
He picks up the ball on the edge of the box and whips a shot at goal, well tipped over by Arnau Tenas. Egypt win the corner kick and will look to keep it in the corner.
Egypt are starting to look desperate now, hoofing the ball forward and giving away cheap fouls on the halfway line. They've got just a few minutes remaining now, they are so close to securing top spot.
Another injury for Egypt, this time it's Ahmed Eid on the floor. He'll have to come off, Ziad Kamal is coming on to replace him.
Egypt have a chance to break but Mahmoud Saber is too hasty with it, firing at goal from 25 yards out. Spain win the goal kick and now have the chance to launch another attack.
Spain charge forward on the right flank and look to feed the ball into Fermin Lopez in the middle of the box. At the last second Cristhian Mosquera stretches out a leg and clears the danger for Egypt.

Egypt are really on the back foot now, looking to eat up the second whenever they can.

Spain are back in the game, thanks to a towering header from Samu Omorodion! The big striker rose highest at the back post and nodded the ball firmly past Hamza Alaa in the Egyptian goal.
Spain need just one more goal to level the scores and reclaim top spot in Group C!

Egypt goal ruled out!
For the third time today Egypt have the ball in the back of the net, but the flag is up! The Egyptians are still pushing players forward but they were a little too impatient there, Ahmed Atef straying offside before firing the ball home.
Egypt are closing in on a famous victory now. Just minutes to go, can they make it?
Egypt have a shot blocked on the edge of the box and Spain move swiftly up-field. Fermin Lopez tries to lofts a ball out to Diego Lopez on the right but it's overhit, flying out for an Egypt throw-in.
Spain look to build something down the left flank but the passing is a little loose and the ball runs out for a goal kick.
Captain Sergio Gomez goes down holding his ankle, claiming that he was clipped by an Egyptian defending during that move. Referee thinks otherwise and he's told to get to his feet.
Spain hit the post!
So close! The corner kick is swung in by Sergio Gomez and Sergio Carmelo has a free header at the back post. He makes a good connection but his effort cannons back off the base of the post.
Egypt survive!
Double change for Egypt before the corner. Ahmed Atef and Bilal Mazhar come on, replacing Faisal and Shehata.
And just like that - chance!
Spain work the ball to Juan Miranda on the edge of the box and the defender lets loose a fierce left-footed shot from 20 yards. His swerving effort is on-target and forces a sharp save from Alaa.

Spain are looking a bit unsettled now, starting to force passes that really aren't on. The Spanish substitutions haven't really offered anything extra so far.
Nearly a third for Egypt!
Egypt catch Spain sleeping and nearly find a decisive third goal. Ahmed Koka stole the ball in the Spanish penalty box and found Ibrahim Adel in the middle.
Adel's shot is blocked but the rebound falls to Koka, who forces a sprawling save from Tenas on the line. That could have been the game!
What can Spain muster in the final stages in Bordeaux? They started the second half well but that second Egypt goal seems to have knocked the stuffing out of them.
As it stands, Egypt will top Group C.
Omar Fayed is replaced by Mohammed Tarek for the final 20 minutes of normal time.

The Egyptian full-back is coming off on a stretcher. Not entirely sure what the injury was there, or whether it warranted a stretcher, but we certainly wish him a speedy recovery.
One final change for Spain. Juan Miranda comes on to replace Miguel Gutierrez.
Egypt aren't done here! They pinch the ball high and launch a quick attack, finding Osama Faisal in the box. He swivels on the ball and forces a sharp save from Arnau Tenas in the Spain goal.
Double change for Spain now. It's Barcelona's Fermin Lopez and Pablo Barrios, coming on to replace Adrian Bernabe and Benat Turrientes.

With just 25 minutes of their final group stage game remaining, Egypt are top of Group C and looking set to seal top spot. Spain need to score twice in the remaining time to overturn the deficit and retake first position.

It's a defensive nightmare for Spain. Once again, it was just a long punt up-field that they couldn't deal with and the ball fell to the feet of Ibrahim Adel.
The No. 10 found himself one-on-one with Tenas and made no mistake.

Spain swing in a goal kick and Samu rises highest, but can't get his header on target. Goal kick to Egypt.
Frantic defending saves Egypt!
Omorodion Samu runs in behind the backline again and tries to make space for a shot. His effort is blocked by goalkeeper Hamza Alaa but the rebound falls to Sergio Gomez.
Gomez strikes at goal but it's cleared off the line! Egypt survive!
Spain are starting to turn the screw now, fashioning a series of half-chances as they pin Egypt back into a deep defensive shape.
The introduction of Sergio Gomez has given them a little more direction in their play. Can they make it count now?
Brilliant work from Samu Omorodion to run in behind the Egypt defence and pull the ball back across the six-yard box. There's no one there to meet the ball and the chance goes begging.
In fact, it's pulled back for an earlier offside.
First chance of the second half for Spain. They do well to build into the Egypt box and find Sergio Carmello in space. He fashions room for a shot but his poked effort bounces just wide of the Egypt goal, and out for a goal kick.

It's been a quiet start to the second half, nothing of any real note from either team. Spain dominating the ball again but they know the threat that Egypt, particularly Adel, pose on the break.
Spain need an equaliser to avoid going through as the second-placed team in Group C. That will likely land then with a tougher quarter-final opponent.

Egypt lead through Ibrahim Adel wonder-strike
In a tense first half, it always looked like it might need a moment of magic to break the deadlock at Stade de Bordeaux. That moment was produced by 23-year-old winger Ibrahim Adel, who curled home a brilliant effort from the edge of the box with just five minutes remaining before the break.
He was the live wire for Egypt throughout and gets his reward with a goal.

That's all from the first half and Egypt have a shock lead at the break!
It was a moment of real inspiration from Ibrahim Adel to give his side the lead, capping an impressive first half performance.
Spain bring the ball forward again but there's precious few options for the Spanish defenders. Mosquera pings a long ball out to Bernabe on the left but he loses the ball and Egypt regroup.
There will be three minutes of added time at the end of the first half.
Egypt have really grown in confidence as this half has grown on. The midfield trio of Elneny, Koka and Shehata has done a good job protecting their back four and rotating the ball around when they have it.
Can Egypt maintain this lead for the next few minutes and take the advantage into the halftime break?
They might do more than they, they push forward again with the ball. Zizo has space to shoot from range but his effort is dragged wide.
Brilliant play from Zizo to make some space on the right and drive towards the box. He laid the ball off to Ibrahim Adel on the edge of the box and he curled the ball into the roof of the net from 20 yards.

Hard-fought game in Bordeaux
Spain have enjoyed the most of the ball but Egypt have looked resolute, refusing to give up space in the central areas.
It's all gone as expected so far. Who can produce a moment of magic and nudge their team ahead here?
Egypt's one real outlet in the first half has been Ibrahim Adel, playing off the left flank. He does well again, squaring up Marc Pubill and shifting the ball inside. He lays it off to Shehata but the midfielder balloons the ball over the crossbar.
Zizio's right-footed effort is wild and flies well over the crossbar. That was a waste of an opportunity for Egypt.
The scores remain goalless.
Egypt push towards the edge of the Spain box and win a free kick, right of center, around 30 yards from goal.
It's a long way out, but Zizo is lining up a shot...
A well-placed ball forward from Spain finds Aimar Oroz racing in behind the Egypt backline. He can't quite bring the ball under control, but it's another promising opening from Spain.
The resultant corner kick is clipped to the back post, where Marc Pubill is waiting to strike a volley. He has space for the shot but drags his effort wide.

Good ball from Spain finds Aimar Oroz charging down the left flank. He tries to clip a cross into the middle but it's blocked by a recovering defender.

Good work from Osama Faisal to hold the ball up for Egypt and win a throw-in. They need more of that from the No. 9 to help them get up-field.
Spain win a corner kick and swing the ball in towards Adrian Bernabe in the middle. He tries to flick a volley towards goal but Hamza Alaa is equal to it.
Out of nowhere, Ahmed Koka takes aim from distance and forces a smart save from Iturbe. He hit that from 30 yards out!
The Egyptian keeper is back on his feet and his team are enjoying a spell of possession. Former Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny is starting to get on the ball, looking to build the play for his team.

The Egyptian keeper is down after colliding with Samu Omorodion while competing for an aerial ball. Hamza Alaa will be fine, but the Spain striker's a big lad.

That Pacheco clearance is turned into a counter-attack for Spain and they work it to Diego Lopez on the edge of the Egypt box. He shifts the ball onto his right foot and fires a low drive that bounces back off the bottom of the post.
So close to a breakthrough!
Egypt push forward and Ahmed Koka swings in a cross from the right. Pacheco clears well for Spain.
As we hit the quarter-hour mark, you'd think that both teams will be fairly happy with how the game has started. Spain have dominated, of course, but Egypt have managed to pose a threat on the break.
Spain are caught on the counter-attack and Ibrahim Adel has the space to burst down the left wing for Egypt. He looks to cut inside onto his right foot to make space for a shot but his progress is well blocked by Cristhian Mosquera at rightback.
More good work from Adel, who looks like a real handful
More good work from Spain with the ball, spraying the passes around and trying to make space for a cross out wide. Egypt are staying compact in the middle, but that's leaving space out wide.
Pacheco comes close for Spain!
Spain win a corner kick and curl in a brilliant cross from the right. Pacheco meets it well with his head but gets the direction all wrong, sending his header wide of the target.
That's a big let-off for Egypt.

The Egyptian defender is booked for that late challenge.
Spain come forward now with Diego Lopez, making good progress on the right. He's brought down by Eid near to the touchline, stopped the break.
Egypt win the ball through striker Faisal and launch a quick counter-attack. They work the ball towards Ibrahim Adel in the Spain box but the No. 10 can't get his shot away amid Spanish defenders.

As expected, Spain have dominated the early stage and controlled possession. Egypt staying deep, resolute in their defensive shape.
