This lineup is the best we’ve seen in more than a decade. So grab your popcorn and get ready to witness a tournament that’s bound to be more exciting than a hole-in-one celebration.

Russell Henley and Denny McCarthy, ranked No. 29 and 34 in the world, are the favorites to win the tournament with +1400 on most betting sites. It seems they’re ready to show off their skills and make the competition green with envy!

At TPC Deere Run on Thursday, McCarthy’s performance proved the prognosticators correct. In the opening round, the 30-year-old veteran started strong by scoring two quick birdies on his third and fourth holes. He continued his good performance by adding another birdie, ending the first nine holes with a score of three under par. He achieved a high position on the leaderboard at the beginning.

What are the tee times for round 2 of the John Deere Classic?

In Round 2, McCarthy will aim to maintain his strong performance. He is scheduled to tee off at 2:05 p.m. ET on Friday, playing together with Matt Kuchar and U.S. Ryder Cup captain Zach Johnson.
