Get ready for an exciting week of golf as the 2023 RBC Canadian Open kicks off this Thursday at 7:00 a.m. ET. The picturesque Oakdale Golf & Country Club in Toronto, Ontario, will be the stunning backdrop for this tournament, which runs from June 6 to 11. With an impressive prize fund of US$9 million, this event promises to showcase some exceptional golfing but also, to some degree, will take some of the intrigues, especially knowing it will be the first official competition after yesterday’s surprising PGA-LIV merger.

Returning to Canadian soil is the two-time defending champion and current world number 3, Rory McIlroy. With a remarkable track record, McIlroy aims to achieve an unprecedented feat by securing three consecutive Canadian Open titles. Also, it will be interesting to follow his game as one of the golfers who again was at the forefront of the PGA-LIV saga.
However, he has some tough competition to beat, as he faces off against many international stars such as Matt Fitzpatrick, Sam Burns, Cameron Young, and others, all competing to win the championship title.
