2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic: Round 2 Friday tee times, pairings, and featured groups

The second round of the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic will take place today, Friday, June 30, at Detroit Golf Club.

Rickie Fowler, a popular figure among fans, has consistently performed well this season and was particularly notable in June’s U.S. Open, one of the major tournaments. However, despite his strong showings, Fowler has not secured a victory since 2019, which surely weighs his mind as he competes in the Rocket Mortgage Classic.

In his latest effort to break his winless streak, Fowler started the tournament strongly, scoring three under par over his first nine holes on Thursday at Detroit Golf Club. This placed him near the top of the leaderboard early on. In the second half of the round, he achieved four birdies and two bogeys, finishing Round 1 with a score of five under par, specifically 67.

Looking ahead, Fowler aims to position himself favorably in Friday’s second round, setting himself up for a potential victory over the weekend.
