Having hosted numerous high-profile golf tournaments over the years, the course in Andalucía is clearly special, but how much does it cost to play there?
Regarded as one of Europe’s premier courses, the Finca Cortesin course offers a “harmonious relationship between the natural Mediterranean landscape and environment.” Located in Andalucia, the Cabell B. Robinson course design is perfectly accentuated by Gerald Huggan’s landscaping.
The Finca Cortesin course
With pristine weather year-round, Finca Cortesin is one of the few golf courses in Europe where golf can be enjoyed all year. Indeed, the world-class 18-hole course is renowned as one of the best it’s complemented perfectly by the resort itself which boasts one of the world’s top 50 hotels. As for the course itself, it has hosted the Volvo World Match Play Championship on three occasions and will of course be the location where the Solheim Cup 2023 will be played.
Associated with exceptional attention to detail, the course saw its greens upgraded in the summer of 2017, a process that made it the first golf course in Spain to feature an environmentally friendly type of Bermuda grass on all of its putting surfaces.
